Ensembles

Advanced Treble Ensemble – Open to girls in grades 8-12, by audition.

This ensemble is for the more advanced singers in terms of vocal technique as well as sight-reading experience.  The expectation is that members of this group will be at level 3 or higher in the Certificate of Merit curriculum or equivalent.  If in doubt regarding theory level, girls are encouraged to audition and take a theory placement test.  Contact director@favachoir.org for more information.

FAVA Chamber Choir – Mixed Choir (SATB) open to grades 8 through Adult, by audition.

This will be a smaller group of approximately 20-24 singers selected primarily for choral balance, vocal tone, and sight-reading ability. Chamber Choir will also serve as the core of the larger Festival Chorus.

Festival Chorus – Mixed Choir (SATB) open to adult singers.

This choir provides a good opportunity for people who enjoy choral singing but do not have time to commit to weekly rehearsals and (much) practicing at home. For more information about choirs for adults and teens, please contact the director, Dianne Harmel at director@favachoir.org
